Position Overview
The University Life Coach contributes to institutional student success by providing personal life coaching, resource identification and referral, professional development, and training to individuals and programs. This role is integral to the University Coaching and Student Achievement department.

Key Responsibilities

• University Life Coaching (75%): Provide life coaching to students as defined by the International Coaching Federation and departmental standards. Partner with students to enhance awareness and create insights that support goal setting, personal growth, and positive behavior modification. Assist students in achieving goals by identifying and improving actions necessary to manage current behaviors to accomplish plans.
• Plan & Prepare (5%): Accumulate 100 base hours of coaching experience and earn an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience: Two years of related experience; additional education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in coaching methodologies.

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $19.21
• Employment Status: Full-time, Exempt
• Shift: Day shift
