Position Overview
The Career & Life Design Coach will play a pivotal role in guiding students through their career and personal development journeys. This position involves individual and group coaching, leading a career community focused on Law, Policy & Social Good, and collaborating on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Student Coaching: Provide individualized and group coaching sessions to assist students in career and life design.
• Career Community Leadership: Lead the Law, Policy & Social Good career community, organizing programs, events, and outreach to students, clubs, employers, and alumni.
• Program Development: Design and support career and life design programs, with an emphasis on DEI initiatives.
• Campus Collaboration: Liaise with campus partners to support the objectives and activities of the Career & Life Design Center.

Qualifications

• Required:
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education, Counseling, Social Work, Business, or a field relevant to the career community focus.
• Preferred:
  • Master’s degree in Higher Education, Student Personnel, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Career Coaching or Counseling Certification (e.g., IFC, BCC, CSSP).
  • Career Assessments Certification (e.g., StrengthsFinder, MBTI).
