Career Coach
Stevens Institute of Technology seeks a dedicated Career Coach to provide individualized and group career coaching to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as recent alumni. The role involves assisting with career planning, resume development, interview preparation, and facilitating workshops on various career-related topics.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized career coaching to students and recent alumni.
- Assist in creating resumes, cover letters, and developing interview skills.
- Facilitate workshops on job search strategies, networking, and professional communication.
- Collaborate with campus partners to develop and execute career programs.
- Support key Career Center initiatives and employer recruiting events.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Occasionally work evenings and weekends to support events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in counseling, higher education, psychology, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in career advising, human resources, recruiting, or related areas.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Proficiency with career development tools and resources.
