Instructional Support Teacher
Achievement Prep Public Charter Schools seeks a dedicated Instructional Support Teacher to ensure continuity of instruction and maintain classroom culture in the absence of regular teachers. This role involves providing coverage across both elementary and middle schools, supporting school-wide systems, and participating in community-based events.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an internal substitute teacher across the network.
- Collaborate on lesson planning and assessment when applicable.
- Implement the school's behavior system with fidelity.
- Support school-wide testing and examinations.
- Provide small-group tutoring and additional classroom support as needed.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in an educational setting, preferably in urban schools.
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
- Ability to adapt to various classroom environments and grade levels.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Achievement Prep.
