Workforce Development Life Coach
The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles is seeking a dedicated Workforce Development Life Coach to support clients in overcoming employment barriers and achieving self-sufficiency. In this role, you will assess client needs, develop individualized employment plans, and connect clients with resources to facilitate long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct eligibility screenings, intake assessments, and develop goal-oriented employment plans.
- Connect clients to job training, placement services, and support resources.
- Collaborate with community partners for outreach and recruitment efforts.
- Assist with employer engagement to support client job placements.
- Provide counseling, referrals, and follow-up support to address employment barriers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in workforce development, case management, or related areas.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of community resources and support services.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
