Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Health Coach to join our team in a part-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will engage with members virtually, facilitating meaningful behavior change to enhance health and wellness. You will adhere to Vida’s guidelines, Scope of Practice, HIPAA, PHI, industry standards, and applicable laws to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with members to promote healthy lifestyle behaviors in areas such as weight management, nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and chronic disease prevention/management.
• Deliver coaching across our comprehensive programs for both mental and physical health.
• Engage with members through individual and group video calls, as well as electronic messaging, in accordance with program schedules.
• Utilize coaching skills within a Motivational Interviewing framework to assist members in setting specific, measurable health goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation during video consultations, ensuring compliance with Vida’s standards and protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field (e.g., Health Sciences, Nutrition, Exercise Science, Psychology) or equivalent experience.
• Certification in health coaching or a related discipline is preferred.
• Proficiency in Motivational Interviewing and behavior change techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate clients remotely.
• Experience with virtual coaching platforms and technology.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Compensation

• Hourly rate: $25 - $35, commensurate with experience.
