Peer Health & Wellness Coach
Terros Health is seeking a dedicated Peer Health & Wellness Coach to assist members in activities related to health and wellness, including physical exercise, nutrition, healthy lifestyle choices, smoking cessation, and recovery. In this role, you will work closely with members to develop plans and tools for healthy living, educate them on self-advocacy, and encourage participation in their behavioral and physical health care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist members with health and wellness activities.
- Develop personalized health plans with members.
- Educate members on self-advocacy and health care participation.
- Encourage access to primary medical care for prevention and early intervention.
Qualifications
- Lived experience with behavioral health services or substance abuse treatment.
- One year of experience or education related to health and wellness education.
- Completion of Peer Support Training and Certification.
- Valid Arizona Driver's License and satisfactory 39-month Motor Vehicle Record.
- Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one.
- Minimum typing speed of 25 wpm.
