Community-Based Family Health & Wellness Coach | Bilingual Spanish

Mental Health Partners is seeking a dedicated Family Health & Wellness Coach to provide community-based support to children, youth, and caregivers facing mental health and co-occurring substance use challenges. In this role, you will teach and coach skills that promote healthy habits, behaviors, relationships, and mental well-being within the family unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Skill Coaching: Deliver short-term support services, including psychoeducation and psychosocial rehabilitation, focusing on emotional regulation, crisis management, effective parenting, and relationship skills.
• Community Engagement: Provide support primarily in home and community settings to enhance real-world application and daily functioning.
• Collaboration: Work with child welfare services, probation, schools, juvenile justice, hospitals, and other partners to meet client and family needs.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with clinical and administrative policies.
• Flexible Scheduling: Work some evening hours to accommodate family and youth availability.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience: Experience working with children, youth, and families in behavioral health settings is advantageous.
• Skills:
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to teach and coach parenting skills effectively.
• Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Flexibility to work evenings as needed.
