Youth Group Facilitator/Coach (Part-Time)

The Pathfinder Network (TPN) has been providing justice-system impacted individuals and their families with tools and support since 1993. We serve individuals experiencing incarceration, those reentering the community, individuals on community supervision, and their families within nine of Oregon’s eleven corrections facilities and in the community across multiple counties. Our programs include evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive cognitive behavioral interventions, such as our proprietary curriculum, Parenting Inside Out. We serve an average of 3,000 people annually agency-wide.

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Youth Group Facilitator/Coach to join our team in Oregon City. In this role, you will provide group facilitation and coaching services to youth aged 11-17 who are referred by the Clackamas County Juvenile Department. You will deliver evidence-based curricula, support youth in developing pro-social skills, and assist in their successful engagement with the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Group Facilitation: Deliver evidence-based group curricula to youth, focusing on skill development and positive behavior change.
• Individual Coaching: Provide one-on-one coaching to support youth in applying learned skills to real-life situations.
• Assessment and Planning: Conduct assessments to identify youth needs and collaborate on individualized service plans.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Clackamas County Juvenile Department and other community partners to coordinate services and support for youth.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of services provided, progress notes, and required reports.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; additional education in social work, psychology, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Experience working with youth, particularly those involved in the juvenile justice system, is highly desirable.
• Skills:
  • Strong facilitation and coaching abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate youth from diverse backgrounds.
• Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including afternoons and evenings.
