Job Coach

CHI Friendship is a leading provider of services for individuals with disabilities, dedicated to embracing diversity and fostering independence.

Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Job Coach to support individuals with varying abilities. In this role, you will assist with personal care, medication management, and engage in activities that create meaningful experiences for those we serve. The typical work hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional trainings and meetings between 4:15 PM and 6:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Personal Care Assistance: Provide support with daily living activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals.
• Medication Management: Assist with administering medications in accordance with prescribed plans.
• Activity Engagement: Facilitate and participate in activities that are enjoyable and meaningful to individuals, promoting their independence and personal growth.
• Plan Adherence: Follow policies, procedures, and Individual Support Plans as outlined to deliver consistent and quality care.

Qualifications

• Driver’s License: Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and current car insurance.
• Experience: Previous experience in a supportive care role is advantageous but not required.
• Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism.
