Workforce Development Life Coach

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Workforce Development Life Coach to support clients in overcoming barriers to employment and achieving personal development goals. In this role, you will assess client needs, connect them with resources, and provide ongoing support to facilitate long-term employment success and self-sufficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Assessment: Conduct eligibility screenings, intake, and assessments to determine client needs and program suitability.
• Individualized Planning: Develop goal-oriented employment and career plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Resource Connection: Link clients to services such as job training, placement, counseling, and support for overcoming employment barriers.
• Collaborative Support: Work with partners and job development teams to facilitate client progress toward employment goals.
• Ongoing Monitoring: Provide follow-up support to ensure job retention, career advancement, and address any emerging challenges.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Experience in workforce development, case management, or related areas, particularly with individuals facing employment barriers.
• Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of community resources and support services.
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized employment plans.
• Language Proficiency: Bilingual skills, especially in Spanish, are advantageous.
