Life Coach

Ozark Trails Youth Services is dedicated to supporting adolescents facing mental health challenges and difficulties in forming healthy relationships. We provide a nurturing environment where mentors play a crucial role in guiding students toward personal growth and success.

Position Overview
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Life Coaches. In this role, you will engage directly with students, providing structure, safety, and leadership within therapeutic and academic settings. You will collaborate closely with Clinical and Academic Staff to support each student's treatment progress, utilizing strong interpersonal skills and proactive interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Relationship Building: Develop positive working relationships with students by teaching and modeling principles from the Anatomy of Peace, engaging in daily interactions that demonstrate healthy relationships and appropriate boundaries, and modeling collaborative problem-solving and life skills.
• Student Support: Foster treatment alliances by setting and maintaining clear boundaries, encouraging positive influences, being present and engaged with students, assisting in creating and maintaining a safe environment, and participating in Parent Weekends.
• Crisis Management: Respond calmly and appropriately to crisis situations using Aegis training techniques.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Licenses: Valid Driver's License (required); CPR Certification (preferred).
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to model healthy relationships and appropriate boundaries, and capacity to respond calmly in crisis situations.

Schedule

• Full-time positions with evening shifts (1:30 PM - 9:30 PM and 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM).
• Potential weekend shifts as needed.
